Joey
I have three children: Bea, Laurie and Joey.
Joey has severe learning disabilities and intractable epilepsy.
KIDS
I'm proud and honoured to be the Chair of KIDS (www.kids.org.uk), an outstanding national charity which provides a wide range of help and services to disabled young people and their families.
Charity and Campaigning
I campaign for an improvement in the way that people with Learning Disabilities are treated and represented in culture and the media.
I do what I can to help MENCAP and the Brandon Trust, among others.
I'm also the Patron of Dramatise, a charity which offers drama classes and workshops to young people with disabilities.
I've written various articles on the experience of being Joey's father.
